Besides as a journalist, I wear several other hats, one as a tennis instructor. I’ve been teaching tennis for 8 years, both to kids and adults of all experience levels, hoping to share my love of the sport and pass it on to the next generation of players. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, traveling (especially by train), and stock trading.
In my freetime I like to play tennis, travel and discover new countries!
I'm an American journalist with small town California roots currently living in Belgium. My love of writing and sharing untold stories has taken me across 23 countries and has furnished an appreciation for both grassroots and
global reporting. You can read about my re-location story here.
I graduated with a master's degree from KU Leuven in Belgium. My work ranges from U.S. politics to navigating new cultures to sports profiles. During my bachelor at UC Santa Cruz, I served as a study abroad advisor, helping students find international programs that suited their academic and personal needs.
